Lessons learned on the line this year

1- I wanna move south

2- I need to get a few new young trappers to chop ice for me

3- shoot the mailman when he delivers a beaver permit to my mailbox

4-don’t leave wet waders in the car from the night before and expect to get them on

 

On a serious note the ice doesn’t bother me for setting its these ridiculous temps yesterday was like a heat wave and I ran the line at dark after work today was murder between the wind and blowing snow in your face

 

But I guess at the end of the day I do it because I love doing it
