Too Cold For The Ducks!

When I went down to my mom's place a few days ago, I had plan to get some duck hunting in as well as deer hunting. But, due to the extreme cold weather, there were no ducks to be found. Everything including the swamps were totally frozen. I'll be down in  a few weeks to try again. Hopefully, things will thaw out. My mom's black lab Maggie was very disappointed.

Yes. Normally, there are dozens of Black Ducks and hundreds of Canada geese and Tundra swans. But, not when it's cold. I don't blame them.
