does anyone know how to get a title for a boat trailer that has no title or registration ? also if anyone has done it can you tell me how long the process took.

No doesn’t issue title for trailers. Unless you baggy it new, you will never get a title( only registration). Your best bet( if you don’t have previous registration ) is go the home made route. It’s actually easier than you think. Most people that work at DMV won’t argue as long as you fill out the appropriate paperwork. I’ve gone this route a few times. Nobody really makes a fuss about trailers.

My friend just went through this, after a month of going back and forth with the DMV he gave up and just swaps the plate.
