I did a few times especially my cameras in Virginia.

Maybe somebody found your camera and bait and checked your card , deleted it and turned your camera off because there is a giant buck on your bait ?? Are you sure you didn't turn it on ? Just sayin .......

It's in a camlock box, bolted into the tree, with a padlock and python cable lock.....if anyone can even find it, and get to the camera they earned to keep it

I've done this at least a few times. 

 

I've also hung cameras upside down. Not sure if that makes me dumber than you or not, but at least I turned it on those times.

 

What makes this worse is, I don't really use cameras very often. Not sure if that's a good excuse, or a better reason to feel like an idiot since my ratio of moronic camera usage is higher. lol
