i just got a weaver #74 base for my savage 24 i need to get a couple more slots milled into it to fit my scope mount, any one know some one local to Burlington/mount holly area to get this done?

A Picatinny Mount won't work? 

Had to have 3 holes Drilled and Taped in 22 Winchester Rifle to mount a Picatinny They wanted $30 a Hole      and wait a month for it to be done.  I did it my self no problem was a Millwright for GM 36 Years.  Good Luck took a lot of heat when I Posted it was Highway Robbery.  for $90. for well under 1/2 hour work.
