I'm looking forward to getting out in the snow tomorrow, between the dog tracking and their little prints in the snow should be a good day. Plus it's been 2 weeks since the dog and I had a chance to work together due to 6 day. Good luck everyone, I know my dog is excited watching me get my gear together tonight

Got my limit, they were tucked in nice and tight today though. Not to many birds were had. Most were taken from trees that I saw. My dog put them in the air however.

Anyone from southern zone WMAs notice a decrease in number of stocked birds? Down at Dix, I only counted 6/7 different set of bird tracks this past Sat. Snow conditions for tracks were ideal. I could be wrong, but I think the allocation numbers may have changed or bad math. Maybe coyote kills, but we didn't see predator tracks.

I've been out every chance I could in Central and North and there are definitely less birds this year, I've gone at least three times a week. Having said that I am also getting enough action so no complaints, but yes there are less birds.

There's less birds on every WMA at the end of the season, last year they released 55k birds this year around 45-48
