Bonefreak
So my cousin, a retired NYPD detective, reached out to me to try and help his friend, Terry Sr., also a retired NYPD detective. Terry is an avid disabled sportsman who hunts out of his wheelchair after being paralyzed from a surfing accident. I spoke to his son, Terry Jr., who also has a career in law enforcement, and Jr. said that he has been taking his dad to a small spot in Monmouth County for the past 7 yrs and he has had some success with the crossbow, but he would like a change of scenery and try some new spots. I told Jr. that I would put it out to the crew and see what we can come up with. Terry Sr. is also an American Hero for his relentless work on a particular case, that, for his safety, I don't feel comfortable posting about it, but if you are truly interested in helping him, send me a PM and I will give you his last name and you can look up his articles. I have some experience with this topic because my uncle was paralyzed from a diving accident in his early 20's and never was able to fly planes again in his commercial pilot career, and his new born son never saw his dad walk. It was amazing how tough "Uncle Bill" was as he went on to live an active life that most of us will never know. My aunt and entire family were always there for him and loved him so much, until he passed away when he was around 60 about 10 yrs ago. Terry and his son are local to Monmouth County, and being an American Hero, he really is deserving of the premiere spots like Springsteen's farm in Colts Neck, Upper Freehold farms, Earle Naval base, etc etc, but I am sure they would appreciate any help with finding some new scenery and meeting some other great NJ sportsmen in the brotherhood!!!
