I participated in a controlled hunt on deer that were "never really hunted" bucks were dropping in November.

Nobody likes stress, humans medicate themselves for it.

But hey its tradition, so drive on

So not only is it just about impossible to find a big mature buck to pursue

In NJ, but they also drop tthere horns in December so they can get shot as a doe in January or February.
