Keep getting those bears guys! Only have one bear on camera but its at night and would rather get another deer for the freezer at this point

With the new Governor in place this may be the last time you get the chance to bear hunt for a while, but you will still be able to hunt bare!

News 12 this morning said 8 taken Thursday season may be extended. The video they showed was a Foot in a Chain hanging up.   That should upset many Tree Huggers

Tha's what I was going to input. The NJ bear season will close if the harvest rate of bears tagged that year reaches 30%.  So right now at 13.3% that's less than 1/2 the goal and with the possibility of not having any more hunts for at least 4 years my bet is that the season will be extended next week at least until 20% of the tagged bears are taken.  The highest % of tagged bears taken was 25.9% and that was last year.

There are significantly less bears running around thanks to several very successful hunts.
