I grew up in Middleboro on my Grandfather's farm and don't remember seeing deer in all the years I lived there. Where did you move to?

times have changed due to strict regulation. Middleborough has one of the higher densities of deer for the state but a lot of rednecks to combat it!! However they mostly gun hunt because hunting with the bow here is not easy. I’m nearby in Plymouth.

yea, you won’t see them out like you do in NJ. They are much more scarce here. You have to really hunt them and wait! My best tool is my climber! Edited November 17, 2017 by Oneday121o

Just to go into how scarce the deer are, these are the only two bucks I have seen all year so far and anyone who knows me knows I hunt like a mad man. I usually make it out three or four days a week for evening hunts. No baiting here too! Not legal in any form even a natural food plot from throw and grow or a salt lick is illegal! So no yellow mountains of deer gold here!

Well you did real good with your deer. I now have a place in Hyannis and there are several clubs on the Cape.  My neighbor complained about all the turkey running through his backyard but I don't think they will let me shoot them.  Maybe if my name was Kennedy though....

I have yotes, fox, fisher, Turkey, and deer in my backyard. I live in the stocks but it’s still rather residential. Caught them all on trail camera.
