Only ones in school

So I picked up the Jerky Cannon because the kids have been asking me to make some Jerky since last season but I didn't harvest a deer last year. While making it with them they tell me how happy they are because they are probably the only ones in school that know how to make jerky. I feel like they miss out on a lot of stuff living in a city but I try and get them out fishing and and in the outdoors as much as possible. They did a great job and hopefully will join me on a hunting trip one day.

I usually do the strips, I just picked up this jerky Cannon. I did a 2:1 Venison to beef mix and used the LEM original and teriyaki seasonings. I think i'm going to give the Slim Jims a try tomorrow. They call for a 5:1 Venison to Pork mix I think.

I’m no authority on kids i did raise a couple that turned out pretty good and i can tell you this... it’s not about where you live or how much money you have. It’s about time spent with them and it looks like you have that part licked. Keep up the good work!
