Lol, coons are more work than what they are worth! A couple DPs with cheap cat food, some stinky scent, and a marshmallow will take care of them. Spread them out, if a coon sees one caught they won’t return. Make sure you set them where they can’t pull out their hand by using a tree for leverage. I usually use ground stakes.

Thanks for the advice, I know they are more work but they will make good practice of skinning fleshing and boarding up ..I rather practice on a coon then a fox or yote if I happen to get one of them

Nonsense. I've doubled and tripled in a good spot for coons. Gang set it for best catch percentage chances

PSEHUNTER,

Enjoy the ride.

You will learn more each and every time you set up.

Learning curve......

Gang set for coons. It will pay off.

You will be kicking butt in no time at all.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

They are good practice and easy but fatty and messy.

i get a lot of bait pile coon every year.

hunters are tired of feeding them. so i come in, gang set DP's and take the cream in one night.

they are greasy, but we do not have the fox numbers to target them. so to keep the fur rolling, it's coons.
