Halloween Hunt Pa. Uplands

It was one of those perfect fall mornings and the Springer pup was doing his job, unfortunately my shooting wasn't what it should have been. I did manage a nice Ringneck and we flushed a covey of quail, I haven't seen that in years. A great fall day!

Thanks! It was at least 9 birds, I would love to believe it was a wild covey but it's been a very long time since I've seen one in this area. There is an area not too far from there that holds field trials, so sometimes the survivor birds form coveys. They are capable of surviving and acting wild but don't reproduce.
