NJFH trapper education

Was a great time! I learned quite a bit, though the snare I set had a knock down, the raccoon didn't make it past another student who placed his in the right spot! Can't wait to receive my I.D. Card so I can purchase my first trappers license! I'm going to try and get to the convention in central jersey so I can pick up a few mink snares and other things I need for my very first trapping season!!

Checking the traps and snares was exciting! I was wondering all night last night what we might have caught!!!

That be north of the line and is NJTA area. How about just Trapper Education given by the Hunter/Trapper Education branch of NJ Fish and Wildlife Division ?

I volunteer for both classes

Doesn't matter to me, who is holding the class as long as the new trappers are taught how to get off on the right foot and don't do anything that may jeopardize my right to trap.

I forfeit two week ends every fall, during bow season. (both were beautiful weekends this year ) to help protect every trappers rights in n.j.

But the real please is seeing the younsters getting involved and the look on their faces when it's time to check their very first set.
