Picked Up My Butchered Bear

BHC

Recommended Posts

First time using this butcher, "THE BUCK STOPS HERE" in Columbia, NJ. He's one mile from my friend Frank's house who is mounting my bear from last year & this year.

I got sweet italian sausage, chop meat, roasts, loins, stew cut, etc.

The operation they have is very nice,& clean.  I will cook something tomorrow, most likely the sausage

Looks Great!!! Enjoy!!

Let us know how the Sausage comes out, I've never had Bear sausage. Just curious if there's a big difference..

Yes I will....I had Italian sausage from the last deer I got from a deer butcher in Warren County, it was the worst I had. A week later a friend not knowing I used that butcher did as well and he too hated the Italian sausage, it was so bad I gave it to my dog

Is that all the meat or just some of it? I was thinking about using The Buck Stops Here this year, but then I asked them their price to butcher a deer on their Facebook page. The price is $85 plus $10 if you want it vacuum sealed. I never used a butcher that charges extra to vacuum seal, it was always included in the price.
