Saw my second mature buck today locked down with a doe. First was a big 9 this morning now a wide 7 or 8. Pretty sure I just saw it mount the doe also.

My dad saw a good buck last weekend mid day in a hedgerow 100 yards off the road just standing there wide open. He said his posture was that of a buck tending a doe... although he didn't see a doe, she was probably bedded in the hedgerow out of sight. He said although very early, he knows how to read a buck.. when he won't leave this area he's probably with a hot doe

It's coming! I'll finally be out again on Saturday afternoon. Going to check my cameras tomorrow. I haven't checked them in almost a month.

Watched a wide eight chase does the last half hour .

A bigger 9 came out and busted his G2- and one brow off .

Busted up 8 was chasing again five minutes laterc.

9 point eating in the hay field could care less about all the does
