The Crabs Were Hungry.....pic

Good day on the water yesterday despite the morning rain and wind. The crabs were not the biggest of the season and we culled them at 5 1/2" and up. After 5 hours of pulling traps we ended our trip with two full bushels of heavy crabs, plus we gave away a dozen more to a older gentleman who was having trouble just to even catch one.

Ok listen... take a dozen... snap

Off the claws rip the top shell off... brush the bottom clean a little then break it in half...

 

Take a good size pan put a stick of butter in when it's just abou melted throw the crab in cook and stir until they are red... pour in soy sauce till they are almost swimming in it simmer a lil throw in some Italian bread crumbs until soy sauce is mopped up into the bread crumbs.... it will almost become like a paste....

 

I promise you ...

You will love them and cook them this way the majority of the time.... thanks me later
