Mental health professionals are, in general, a fairly crazy lot.

 

People enter the mental health field because they have a history of psychological difficulties. 

Perhaps they're trying to understand or overcome their own problems, which would give us a pool of therapists who are a bit unusual to begin with.

Bill Crain, a City College of New York Psychology Professor lives on an animal sanctuary farm in Dutchess County, N.Y.

 

 

His first six convictions were resolved with fines, but a municipal judge sentenced him to up to 10 days in jail last winter after his seventh civil disobedience arrest.

Being purposely arrested 8 times is abuse of the officers' time, abuse of taxpayer dollars, and abuse of the public penal sytem. Last year he got a week in jail, this time he should get a year in jail. Give him enough time to seriously re-evaluate his life choices. When he cant walk right or sit down after the first week, lets see if the bears are still important enough to him to do it again. They need to issue us a bear tag that is good for the year. That will solve the problem of this circus of a protest every year.

This will be the 9th trip in front of a judge for the same thing. (I would bet the ranch if this were a wildlife offender they would have put him away a long time ago) He got a 10 day jail sentence last year for his yearly stunt. You would think that because he clearly makes a mockery of the system he would be treated a little more harshly. Hopefully this year will be different maybe a six month sentence within the jail community will help his attitude.

There is a need to stop the check station process here in the land of liberal rags like the Star-Ledger, Daily Record and any advance media news outlets. Take their bleeding heart reporting out of the equation and this man would not know where to stand to show his stupidity.
