I start baiting a month and half befor season making the 100 plus mile one way trip once a week then twice the week before. Finally I head up on Sunday to bait and check camera's. I have bears on both my spots but not consistent. But still better than the weeks before that.
So open morning comes and I have no desire to shoot a bear now (WTH). No idea why after all the money for gas and time coming up. So I was up there for the first 3 days and I only hunted 2 mornings and did some fishing the rest of the time. I ended up putting a couple other friends in my spots since they have never taking a bear before.
Tough few days with only one bear seen and the guy hit the ball joint in the shoulder. Had a decent bear on camera a hour after I baited on Sunday afternoon. And every night since.
Congrats to the people that were able to see and take one.

Did catch a few bass and hang out with a few friends and enjoy some great scenery.

No matter how much someone works, you have to make time to get outdoors and enjoy, weather it be fishing for a few minutes, taking the wife for a drive or walk to see the leaves turning colors in the fall... Just get out there and enjoy. Fall is the best season
