Went bass fishing today

Hit up one of my favorite spots for some bass fishing, it was slow, but managed to land 6-7 fish, mostly on jigs, with the two biggest a 4.2 and a 5.5 pounder! A black and blue jig caught the smaller one, when I saw they where feeding on bluegill I switched to a PBnJ jig with an ocachobee craw trailer, that nabbed the rest, including the 5.5 pounder. Sorry but no pix, this time, lol didn't think of it! Lol

Nope, public. Though it's a bit off The beaten path, but some bucket sitters found it and the fishing is not what it used to be. Was waaaaay better just 6 years ago, but a couple hard winter die offs, and 5 fish limits walking out nearly every weekend has taken a toll.

Yeah well, as long as the abide the limit, not much you can do but what a great fishery that was, now you gotta work harder for what's left.
