Spider !!!!!!!

Gave a friend a hand tracking and finding a deer he shot tonight and came across not one but 2 big spiders while tracking. They were big. Took a picture with my cell and the picture is damn clear for a phone.

My own guess is: wolf spider.

I killed one a quarter of that size tonight and I honestly thought it was the largest spider I've ever seen. If that thing lives in jersey, I'm getting pretty close to quitting going in the woods, I'm getting to fat and to old to outrun all these damn creatures.

I told my friend I think that spider took his deer  , That's why we couldn't find it right away

It's a wolf spider in the genus Hogna, these are the largest wolf spiders.
