Anyone here use fishbrain? For those unfamiliar it's kind of like Instagram with maps for fishing. You can chose a location and it shows you all the fish that people caught along with what bait was used.

I used it a lot when I was at school in PA. It’s definitely a neat app but I’ve also noticed a good increase in people fishing areas I’ve never seen many fish. Everyone wants to show off their huge catch but then see 10+ more people the next day. I share my pictures, just not with a location.

Ya. I posted a picture of a big 14lbs catfish and then I went back the next day and people came up to me saying they saw me on it and decided to fish here because of it. I really don't care, I'm just out to have a fun time.

wow thats kind of neat but ill stick to my dumb phone, i rather not be able to be tracked down to the last inch so easily

Use the free version and have made a few posts on it. It's my understanding that if you upgrade to the premium version it will unlock the exact locations of catches posted. Premium cost is $5.99 a month.

Ya. It unlocks the catch locations and the bait used in each catch
