Hey folks, I just wanted to let everyone know, that Hunt's pheasant preserve will be open and ready for quality upland bird hunts, Hunt's offers pheasant and chucker partridge, also in January they hold a charity hunt to benefit a local family in need. Hunt's offers a-la carte hunts, at competitive prices.

What that means is you can buy as many or as few birds as you wish.

So as too costs.

Land use fee-$30/per gun

Pheasants-$20/per bird

Chucked-$15/per bird

Dogs available upon request.

One day licenses also available.

So, for $130 you can have 5 pheasant, some other places would give you 2 phez and 3 chucker for that same price.

This is a great place to spend a morning or afternoon! Attila and I used to guide here untill his passing, and is buried on the farm. Nicer folks you will not find anywhere.

Thier season starts October 1st, why not give them a call and book a hunt today!!!

Call at (609)397-2007. See you all down there!

Hunt with a Vizsla, cause life's to short to hunt with an ugly dog! :D RIP Tilly monster. (Attila) 2004-2017.

It's really a nice place, the fields are well groomed and there is next to nothing for thorns, the birds hold well for points and flush hard and fast, many times after the birds are placed they start to move about the fields and points can yield doubles, last the cover being as good as it is, a good many birds hold over from time to time, and a bonus there is that scratch birds are free within reason, so if you put out say 5 and come back with 8 you won't be charged for the three extra, but if you put out five and come in with 15, well then they will charge you for them.

I remember one hunt I had with a client, two fellas had 8 put out and Attila found 21 birds! But the hunters where new to pheasant hunting and missed all but 2-3, but they had loads of fun! Lol

I love the place, cant say enough good things about Hunts. Last year my dog was only 8 months old when we started. Paul took the time to only put out a couple birds at a time so they would stay put during her first learning hunt. Alot of back and forth driving and planting birds for us but Paul didnt care about the extra work, top notch guy. It help briars learning curve big time. When we went for the charity hunt briar put up 15 birds in 55 minutes. I wont go anywhere else.
