Also, u shud try the Crabmaster press device that pushes the meat outa the body....i did 20+ crabs in 10 mins and got 1 measuring cup of solid meat!

That press is hard to get since it crushes the meat to Mush.and nobody wants them  Bonefreak go to Bluecrab Forum those guys can put you on some traps.  I prefer handlines with grandsons.

Wow! I was out yest in Barnegat Bay and no one out there in the area we crabbed picked up much of anything. Lots of little ones but very few keepers!

The site 1957 posted is a good place to find topless traps, and I agree with him about the press. I like the crab meat to have texture when I eat it, and that is why I carefully fold in the lump crab meat when making cakes. Good luck.

There were two of us. I pulled all the traps for seven hours straight. My buddy had both knees replaced recently so he gets to drive...... And yes I feel it the next day.
