You can also check out the G5 sight.  It has one fixed pin and one slider.  I used this when I still shot my compound.

Like others have said my fixed pin was good out to 30.  It was 2 inches high at 10 and 1 inch low at 30.  I found it easier not to worry about distance at those ranges.

The slider was anywhere from 35-70, where knowing the exact yardage was more important(and used mostly for practice).

Just wanted to put out an update. I decided on 2 pins, 20 yards and 35 yards. and finally got the 35 yard pin dialed in perfectly. The sight picture is so much clearer now and the 2 pins really cover 99.9% of shots that I'll ever take in the NJ woods.

I was flinging arrows off my deck the other night to simulate treestand height, and was just nailing bullseye after bullseye at 23 and 38 yards. The yellow bag is 23yards and the other one was sitting at 38. I had to stop shooting at the same dot because I was stacking them in so tightly. I'm really itching for opening day now.

It's a great, simple way to set up a hunting sight. Nice shooting.

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
