Seriously considering buying one for my wife to use with her crossbow this Fall.  Ameristep Doghouse that she used last year is just too confining, I've found it to be useless when shooting any kind of bow (and I might want to come down from the trees and borrow that Ghostblind occasionally!).  I'd appreciate hearing from any Ghostblind users.  Thanks.

My advise, keep your wife in a Doghouse :happywave:

I just look to see what a Ghost blind is and to me this would be good for gun hunting, not archery. You have to get above the blind to take the shot so I think there is a great possibility your movement will be detected by deer from 30 Yards or less.

Late season when gun hunting I use something similar and it works great.

I owned one and sold it. Imho a regular blind or a ghille suit is better. It doesnt do great in the wind...kind of shimmers.

I have 2 i use them all the time.had several deer walk right by me within yards.Jr shot a buck behind one on shotgun youth day. They are a little wobble in the wind though. If you set up on the edge of a field and brush it in a little they work great.

When setup correctly they disappear with the surroundings. They work really good with Xbow and gun. With the bow you need to further behind but they still work well. I like the fact that you aren't completely covered most of the full blinds are to big and you get that closed in feeling.

There's a pretty simple DIY version that can save you lots of money! I too like the ghille jacket with a small brush blind in front of me to hide some movement.
