Tall tines are not prevalent in my area... Every year I get one with potential, and every year they disappear by end of rut (presumably shot or hit by auto).

 

Would be nice if everyone gave this one a pass!

Remember guys.. a "shooter" is different for everyone. One guy who doesn't get out a lot, and doesn't have access to great property might be thrilled shooting a 4 pointer. Others hold out for a 130" or better buck. I personally don't shoot anything "small" but that's my choice. Everyone with a valid hunting license should make their own choice. Keep that in mind before badmouthing someone for shooting a "small" buck. Hunting means different things for everyone! Good luck this season everyone, be safe.

That's a dead deer walking, especially where you are. You are not too far from my z2 spot and the guys around there are not too picky. Hopefully he makes it at least another season. Good luck Bucky!
