Gun Law seminars in NJ

Recommended Posts

I really don't know what they are all about, but I see there's one with Evan Nappen in Glen Gardner on August 8th at VFW post 5119 hosted by Jim Flynn. Jim is a great guy and you won't meet a nicer or more fair gun dealer in the area. I'm going to see if I can get off work to go. If it's something that you might be interested in going to there's other seminars in NJ.

I've been to one of these seminars recently, there's a wealth of info, much of it shocking, in regards to the ludicrous laws we have to deal with in NJ!

Probably the most interesting (and disturbing) fact about NJ firearm Law that I learned is, no one in NJ can own a firearm legally, unless you meet a specific set of exemptions.

The laws as written begin with a presumption of guilt, it's up to the firearm owner to prove that he meets the exemptions that allow Legal firearm possession. So we are all literally guilty till proven innocent!

You'll find these seminars very interesting, but somewhat maddening! So if your tolerance for political BS is already at a low point from all the media BS lately, you might want to reconsider attending! LOL

a year from now we'll have silly new gun laws once Christy is out.

Yup.   Bye-bye semiautomatic rifles.

If you've ever wanted an AR or AK variant, you've got about 6 or 7 months left to do so.

I'm not even thinking of getting an AR - I wouldn't put it past them to not even grandfather anything in. Complete ban and confiscation (opps, sorry, "voluntary surrender") or store it out of state. I think that's what New York or Connecticut did recently, no?

I just tried to register for this so I can have a chat with Nappen at the 8/12 event in Cherry Ridge, but their site cannot process transactions. I've emailed them to see if there is an issue on their end.

Everyone will just keep all the stuff under the bed, wait for the new laws to be declared un consitutional.

That seems to be the strategy employed by many New Yorkers.

God forbid you should have a house fire though, you'll be a "criminal" now.
