I used to use them on and off years ago but getting older now and don't feel like hang on the trees any more. Just use screw in steps now and my lone wolf climbing sticks.

I never used them. Like you I am a long wolf climbing stick guy but the spikes are light and for $25 I am willing to try. I get deep so if this works I maybe happy:-)

You can go up a tree quick. Takes a little bit to get use to but work good. Coming down just have to remember to lift your feet first when going down. Little learning.

Just don't do it on a pine tree or you will have sap running down it. Thats the only problem with them. Work great on pines but you may not want to climb that tree for a while after cause of the sap

All I have in my yard is big oaks. I don't think I ever climbed a pine.
