recurve question

If you buy a string that says 60 amo that is the length for that now .

If you buy a string by true length it will be 56" long

Amo length means they took the 4" off for you .

Not all strings use amo as a standard .

It will be sold as 60" AMO or 56" actual string length DACRON only (B50 or B55 string material). Brace height should be about 7.5"-8" on that bow. Wether shooting off the shelf or with flipper rest, start with a 5/8" nock point. You could shoot Flemish or endless loop string but Flemish is always "easier" on bow tips

You lost me after the 56" :-)

I am older now so I don't have braces and I don't intend to shoot this thing form any shelf...well maybe from my deck. Anything endless, even a loop, sounds better than dealing with Flemish   :happywave:

I really don't understand, since I never had a recurve before, but this maybe a good start to learn something'

Thanks
