Ruger AR-556 upgrade

Finally got around to upgrading the trigger on the Ruger just installed a Timney 3lb. can't wait to hit the range.

I was looking to do the exact same thing to mine. Since I'm a lefty, I'd like to put an ambi safety on too.

Was really easy to install took about 15-20 minutes

Okay here's the next and hopefully the last upgrade to the Ruger I will make. The Vortex Strikefire 2 red dot optic.

I haven't had time to hit the range since upgrading the trigger so I'll have to get back to you on that.

Good one Keith. Not really sure I would add/change anything else on the rifle. The only thing I can think of would be going from the

red dot to a magnified scope. Really don't see me shooting this thing over 100yrds. though.

Nice, I like my trigger as light as possible. Anything over 3lb this can't stand it. On the acutriggers I take the pin out to make it as light as possible

That rifle shoots well past 100 yrds quite accurately
