 Awsome   Guess my Panther Lake NJ 6 pounder is out of the running.   Caught Saltwater ones like that the Redneck cooks on ship fried them up. never had clean tasting ones again.  waiting for your results

The captain gave us a recipe and my wife made it.  Cubed the thick pieces of white meat up and made it in a stew, with potato's onion, etc, etc, and bacon sprinkled on top.  Absolutely delicious. Very firm meat, almost like eating cubes of steak. Really good

When I lived down there, catfishing was huge, we did it often, at night, with beer and hotdogs on the banks of the Tailrace Canal. Lake Marion and Moultrie were great too. Skeeters were awful though and there was no Thermal Cell back then.
