Where does everyone buy meats?

I was just at shop rite trying to find a couple nice rib eyes to cook for my dad and I. The selection was a disgrace. No marbling whatsoever, tons of gristle, too thin, just poor quality in general. I had to go to wegmans and spend twice as much for a decent cut. Where does everyone buy meats? There's no real butchers in my area, so I have to rely on supermarket meats. most of you will say you don't eat anything but wild game, and I know I'll get shunned for saying this, but I don't like to eat venison all the time. I like a nice marbled ribeye, flank, hangar, or skirt steak once in a while

The Meeting Place

Located in beautiful Haskell.

I'll buy 40#-50# of brisket a year from them as well as ribeye, filets, pork chops, etc.  Best meats around, but it's not going to be cheap.  You get what you pay for, and this is top notch stuff.  I also get my deer butchered there.

I spend a lot of my money in Haskell, you should too.

Sapere aude.

Audeamus.

When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.

Selection at 6:30pm on Father's Day is probably going to be pretty bad wherever you go. It's like complaining about a wait at your favorite restaurant on Mother's Day.

I was actually shopping around 2:30, but nevertheless wegmans still had nice cuts. I am at shop rite regularly and they never have any decent steaks, so even though it wasn't the most opportune time to buy steak, I really don't think that's the issue I was referring to.
