Some excellent Groundhog hunting

Started a little late this year but we are kicking ass!

with the beans at about 6" right now we have a just a few more weeks for the long range bean field shots.

Here a few pics so far this season.

My farthest shot today at just shy of 500yds, if you zoom in above the front bell of the scope you'll see my truck from where I took the shot.

Scott (black hole) is also hammering the hogs on the property and from this one piece we've gotten over 20 so far this year

Best of luck oddball! You might just have to wait them out with a .22lr

The real long shots happen in the crop fields, specifically beans. Bean sprouts are like groundhog crack!

I am absolutely addicted to sub .20 cal centerfires. Haven't got into the wildcats...not that extreme.

But i have a nice assortment of commercially available platforms.

.17 hornet, .17rem fireball, .204 ruger are my go-to's
