My brother lives in Bloomingdale and his wife seen 2 coyotes 2x while walking the streets recently. . Both times was a pair of them.

Stink Hounds , they are multiplying as fast as rabbits , definitely going to create more unwanted encounters , and some serious problems ,

Those critters are everywhere. The state has to institute a bait and kill system, if there is such a program. I hear they wait for the stocking truck down on Dix WMA for some fresh pheasants.

I know the guy and the dog, he comes into my work all the time and lives right next door to my work...it's a shame...I see the coyotes all the time and hear them when the fire whistle goes off....I even posted pictures on here of trail cam pics of the coyotes ..most of the trail cam pictures where taken 300 yds or so behind this guys house....shame you can't hunt the property ,there's a biggggg pack of dogs in there to the point where I never see deer anymore and even the turkeys don't dare to cross the road to come into this property..I use to hunt it years ago and there was some big bucks in there ,now your luck if you see a doe...

I'm guessing they need data to make that happen, but I agree as long as it's supportable.   To the best of my knowledge there hasnt been an attempt at an NJ coyote survey in many-a-moon, but as I said before, I suspect the population has boomed.

 

  Hunting them in a way to take decent numbers is difficult though due to their primarily nocturnal nature and intelligence to avoid man, so I think trapping is probably the only successful answer.

Coyote? No I haven't seen any

Here in Oklahoma, we do not consider them a game animal, and there is not a season or limit on them. The only thing we cannot do is hunt them at night, which makes late spring/summer time hunting difficult. From Thanksgiving to the end of February we run them with Greyhound/Russian Wolf hound mixes and also call the heck out them with our FOXPRO!
