Bore Cleaner

Got some Bore tech eliminator bore cleaner, shooters choice fp10 and a bunch of other crap from Midway. I cleaned my LR308 after my Ga humting trip with hoppes and powder blast like I do all my guns. Before the trip my groups opened up to about 1.25 @100 figured the cold temps, was in 20s that day. Anyway today i ram the bore tech through the barrel and it instantly turned a greenish blue color and had black on it at the end of barrel. Did this 3 times then wet the brush and hit it 10 timea then 1 patch wet then let sit 3min then ran dry patches till clean. My issue is...are my barrels not clean? Im assuming this is y my groups suffered. I never used a bore cleaner just the CLO or powder blast and hoppes then a patch of wd40. Thoughts?

Olympic competitors hardly ever clean their guns because after cleaning the grouping suffers.

 

Don't drive yourself nuts, I am sure your guns are clean enough

You have an OCD but it could be worse. You could have wood pile OCD or food plot OCD, so consider yourself lucky

I had wood pile ocd until i lost the lot i kept ot on. 5 chords went with the house that had a propane fp. Lol. I use to ask all the town guys and local tree guys to cut it in 18"pcs and leave it at customers curb n ill come get it in my truck!
