Food Plots and Fruit trees off to a good start

Recommended Posts

Got to do some work around the farm this weekend. I cut a new access trail around the perimeter of the farm to get equipment to maintain a remote food plot and to use for access during hunting season. Sprayed apple trees for insects, whacked all the weeds around them and restaked a few. Almost all the apple trees have apples on them this year.  th_20170528_095723_zpstyfgkaci.jpg20170526_182725_zpsjnw3qci2.jpg

Mowed ,sprayed some Round up ready alfalfa and a adjoining strip that will be planted with turnips and radishes late July. Deer didn't waste any time getting back in to the alfalfa. I was still cutting

Mowed the clover plots and over seeded them again. They are really looking good this year.

Looking good Dad don't forget to send me your number I seemed to have lost it!

My apple trees are looking good also except for the worms, but worms never seemed to hurt anyone.  My persimmon tree is looking great this year.  I believe it will be a heavy fruit year for the persimmon tree.
