Cool Fisherman Art Work

Had to post this. Friend of mine made this pair of fisherman plant holders. They came out cool as he'll. He put a lot of time into they. He started off with no intentions of making them that detailed but he went a little further into it with detail. He cut,bent and welded EVERYTHING including the reel, all steel. He has made some really cool stuff. He has a Facebook page (Forever Standing). He sells the stuff he makes. Does some awesome wood work too.

Interesting. Not something I would use but definitely cool idea and I am sure many will like it.

I thought it was cool as hell cause he made everything from steel, rebar and plates of steel.

I don't know if he meant to do this - but I think it makes it even cooler.

 

Did you notice the overall shape of the bending rod is also in the shape of a fishing hook? (take a close look - flip it upside down in your mind). Double meaning to the artwork?

Yes they look like Kahle hooks that is really cool.

I think 250 ea or 450 for the pair. He said he hasn't tried to sell them yet. He said he going to bring them to next show in Ocean Grove on June 17. He said they should sell there.
