Welcome to the world.

So as I am hunting turkey this morning a doe walks to the middle of the fid and gives birth to two little guys. I didn’t see any of it, because it was way to my right and I was facing the other way but as I am getting ready to pick up my bird and head back I see her standing there and not running away. Only after a while I see two little brown things struggling to get up. Mom ran off the field so I grabbed my camera and very quickly took some pictures. As I went back to get my stuff I saw them struggle on VERY wobbly legs to get off the field, into the woods where mom was waiting.

What a moment to capture on film.

Today I finally looked at a Nebraska hunting video that I took two years ago. I had video of a buck breeding a doe that I forgot about. It was one of those rare things that you witness in the woods, but thankfully for cameras you can share it with others. Awesome pics.

Excellent photos! I wonder why she had them in the wide open instead of cover

I have no clue. Maybe she didn't and maybe she was just trying to cross the field and they couldn't do it in one shot so they went down in the middle but either way they were only few hrs or less old, still partially wet. It is possible she was in the woods next to me and when I shot she panicked and decided to move to the other side. Don't knwo
