Freshwater Fishing Surprise

My brother was fishing in a small lake in Ocean County when he hooked a big one. He was jigging a white worm for pan fish, when this guy grabbed his offering. The old dinosaur was safely unhooked and released after a quick picture.

Giant and pissed off! ASFTAX and I transplanted some giant snappers from a lake in North Jersey last year and used plastic milk bottles as "indicator floats" as we navigated the lake....Definitely a cool feeling to see the milk containers taking off across the lake once the bait is taken....
