Something new

Something new, at least for me. I get home this PM, look out the window and I see male Rose-breasted Grosbeak in breeding plumage at my feeder:-). This is on of the birds I have never seen before in the spring when they are in their Sunday best.

Pics are grainy but it was getting very dark and I had to turn up the ISO to 1000

Those are cool looking birds.  Funny, just like your catbirds, I saw my first grosbeak yesterday too as my wife and I walked around the lake. Great pictures Lunatic.

Looks like they are staying in the neighborhood for now. This is a different bird and I saw a female..no pics yet:-(
