That can't be right. Based on all the bitching and moaning about Christie, he is the worst governor ever and hasn't done any good for the state - who ever comes in next is *sure* to be a better governor for us. Right?

Not necessarily.  Heck, we got two years in under super liberal McGreevy.  So there is no way to know until the next Governor is elected and he or she states where they stand on the hunt.  And hunters will have the courts to go through if a future Governor tries to end the hunt.

Yea I saw a lot of out of staters over at Gyps bar.

The days before the early season brought lots of quads and campers of all sizes though Blairstown.

Most were out of state plates...mainly PA.

look up the parties who are interested in the office. they've all stated their disagreement with the bear hunt. plus, the proposed bill that would've ensure fish and game had the last say on hunting seasons and bag limits was already voted down on the state level. it really isn't looking good for a continued hunt.
