Out at Colliers Mills Friday morning. Got hot fast, by nine over 70. Dogs not ready for that. Put out 5 Quail here are a few pictures one of Yeti and the other of his mother Jazz. No controlled burning yet.

Always good to get out! Were there a lot of ticks?

I have not found a tick at Colliers Mills yet but a few at Greenwood. There will be two trials at Greenwood in March, first one 14th to 19th and the second starts the 25th to the 4th of April.  A third trail in April the 13th to the 19th. Should be good to run dogs the first few days after each trial.

Thanks for the pictures and report. Are the field trials for setters?

No they are my gun dogs. None of them run big enough for trials. The bloodlines are mostly Grouse Ridge Setters. I use to field trail Britts for almost 30 years with horses and all that but have not had the time in the last 15 years.
