22Nosler Project

I am helping Keith with his 22Nosler project. Factory ammo shot well. But we noticed a little Bur right in the Head Stamp after firing. I tried to figure out what could be doing this being Keith has the gun. I took the BCG from one of my AR's and looked it over. I could see that one side could be caused by the plunger on the ejector but there is another one directly across from it but not struck as hard. That I have no idea would could be doing it. Well when I get my hands on the gun this weekend we will figure that out.

 

Next comes reloading time. My favorite part. Nosler has load data up and they show a trim length of 1.760. I do not have one spent cartridge over 1.756. So I am waiting to hear back from the experts over on Saubier to keep moving forward. I trim all my AR ammo to 1.750. I am thinking this will be the same. Heres a few photos of what I have been doing all day. Oh after getting a stuck case out of the Die. That's another story.
