Just got home from Jefferson in Philly. Doc says we are at the point now where to cut anymore would result in loosing the entire side of my head. Trying to save the Eye. But I do have an option. They are doing a study using Chemo and Laser. Brand new thing and a trial. This is how it works. They inject me with the Chemo which attacks the Cancer Cells. The Chemo has a substance in it that can be tracked with a Laser. The next day I return to the Hospital and they put me out in an operating room. Somehow they shoot the Cancer with this Laser through a needle into the Cancer and it kills it. So it's the old one two punch. One or two nights in the hospital and go home. No brainer right? Uh nah. They have never done it before and have no idea what side effects we will have from the Chemo nor long term after it's in me. But a hell of a lot better then me having to learn to out shoot Brandon lefty. So tomorrow I am going back to Philly and sign all the paperwork and meet the Oncology team and do some tests. So this will all happen in about two weeks.

 

So that's that. I went to Saloman's yesterday and shot two rounds of Trap with my 1937 Marlin M90 16ga. 15 first round and 19 second round. They shoot every Tuesday from 10am to dusk and every Sunday 11am till dusk. 5 dollars a round. Gene is a four time State Champion with a 2nd place National under his belt. An all around great guy to hang out with and pull clays for you.

Yea man.  I would like to hope that I could be half as together as you are showing.  I'm sure it's a bit worse inside but that's what family and friends are for.  Tough SOB brother.  Good luck.  I don't know you personally but I'm proud as hell.
