Strictly Archery Review

Went to Strictly Archery today for the first time in Washington and had a great experience. The owner spent 2 hours with me explaining the different bows and technologies. He even watched me shoot and gave me a few pointers. I was itching to buy a new bow but after shooting my Destroyer and the new PSE through the Chronograph (they were both very similar in speed) I decided to hold on to it. My bow needed to be tuned and instead of selling me a new bow, he suggested I get my bow restrung and get some new arrows. This shop is great and I will be going there from now on. My only suggestion is to not go if you don't have a lot of time to kill.

The next time you show up he'll prolly make u feel like your a pain in the a$$, he's doing u a favor, and if their are other people in the store he will publicly shame u for not buying your bow through him.. :cupcoffee:

I've never been to Strictly Archery but it sounds just like B&A in Philly. Nice range and knowledgeable guy but he does the same thing. He acts like he's doing you a favor by paying him to work on your bow. If you didn't buy your bow from him or have accessories that he doesn't sell it's junk.

He suggested I keep mine and I always have Davis, Sportman's Center and Simon Peters as a backup!

.. Not on purpose... I just call things as I see it.. I just gave about as accurate description of Strictly Archery as I could.. Don't mean them any ill will..  The two owners are EXTREMELY competent.. They know what they are doing...Wont give u bad advice...And if you can tolerate a little Schitzophrenia from the bosses then u'll be a happy shopper there.. But, If you're on the touchy side, or have a little self respect, well.....

I believe Americas Best but I could be mistaken. It was a long day. I just told him to put on what he suggested.

I went there once and after he ignored me for 10 minutes talking to his wife, or husband on the phone, I put the broadheads I was trying to buy on the counter and walked out. Never been back.

.. It's been rumored they have photographic memories and know instantly after looking at you  whether or not u bought a bow from them... obviously u didn't...

just my 2 cents. I stopped in there about 3 years ago. I did not talk to any employee there but the shelves and place looked like a dump. nothing was organized and crap was all over.

not sure if it changed since 3 years ago, and again I never spoke a word to anyone. I just walked in to check the place out.  I thought walking out "at least they could of put the merchandise back on the peg boards", as accessories and stuff was just all over the bottom shelf.

maybe they were busy with customer bows and what not. I don't know. some people swear by them.
