squirrel hunting with 22LR

do any of you guys think NJ will ever pass law to allow squirrel hunting with 22lr? we are allowed to hunt them with muzzleloaders in certain areas and they recently passed law allowing .22 air rifles. do you think they will ever for 22lr? or at least in certain areas?

I've wonder the same thing,rimfire would also be nice for rabbit hunting. I've also wondered if we could get a straight walled cartridge for deer law passed like other shotgun only states. No idea if it would ever happen though, though we have had laws loosened within the last few years.

With a standard velocity .22LR doing 1200fps and a 177 caliber air rifle doing the same there is no reason too. Much better issues they can spend their time on like Sunday Hunting.

Too many people and too many houses.  22's do some traveling once they leave the barrel and don't hit their intended target.  So basically the big problem is there's too many people in NJ.  Answer to the problem would be to get them to leave starting with the liberals

For me that argument became invalid when we have centerfire rifles and rimfire rifles legal for hunting groundhogs,raccoons,opossum,coyote and foxes.
