Murphy's Law Strikes Again!

So, I drive the hour down to one of the farms that I hunt to try to get the landowner another deer for his freezer. I parked my truck on the top end of the property to drop my son off and he gets out and then he goes to load his muzzle loader. I hear Holy Crap! I looked at him and he says, I forgot to put my breech plug back in. So, being the nice father that I am, I lend him my muzzle loader. I drove to the lower section of the farm and parked my truck. I had about two hours of light left so, I decided to check my trail cameras. I pulled the one card and got the pictures off of it and walked a few hundred yards to the other camera. When, I got to the second camera, here were 25 deer staring at me less than 100 yards away. I just shook my head and grabbed the reader card. However, on my way back, I did find an antler shed. Needless to say, my son saw nothing. Oh well. When we got home, he put his breech plug in. Lesson learned.

Sound about right.  I once drove way upstate NY to fish and forgot my waders.  Water was in the fifties.  I waded for 10 minutes in jeans and couldn't feel my legs anymore.  Trip over.
