Morning Hunts Worth It Right Now?

I have one camera out in my hot spot and hadn't seen any morning deer at all. Afternoon they have been out at 430.  Has anyone seen or heard about any real movement during morning hunts?  Running out of Saturdays so probably going to go regardless but still.

For this time of year, I gave up on Morning sits years ago.. I'll still/stalk hunt in the a.m. then sit in the afternoon/evening...

Is tis a result of temperature or something else?  Never really winter bow hunted but I take the kids out so much in the fall, this is my time.

The second half of January I usually start to see some morning activity pick back up. The middle of December through the middle of January it is usually pretty slow for me in the mornings. The morning of January 7th when we had the snow in South Jersey, I did see 13 deer.

It depends where you are hunting.  If you are close to where they are bedding you will see morning activity.

Agree with Rusty, depends on the spot.  I have some good morning spots and then others that I usually only hunt in the afternoon.

I'll be heading out this Saturday morning also. I've only been out 3-4 times this year and the freezer is empty. Good luck!

Not that you won't see deer in the am now. But I have found afternoons to be the most consistent for Winer bow. Keep in mind deer will move less in the winter to conserve energy so the will bed close to where they feed.
