hage.230
Was out at Colliers Mills on Monday. Great day for running dogs. Ran the 2 year old setter first for a little over an hour. he pinned a pheasant in the second field to the left of where you first come in, got with in 40 yards of the dog and the bird flew over the lake and clear to the horse farm on the other side of the road. Then ran his father and mother for another hour, got birdy and few times but could not come up with anything else. Did not hear any shots. 4 other groups of hunters out. Just nice to get out after 2 weeks to see the dogs do what they love to do, hunt. Lou and LPJR
Big Joe NJ
Yea I took some walks in the Forge but didn't pop any. Hopefully one of these years we get some to breed But that's wishful thinking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hage.230
Out to Colliers Mills this morning for a while to get the dogs a run. Ran the young dog for an hour, pointed twice and started tracking and the bird went up wild 50 yards ahead. Then took the two older dogs out together had a few points and they tracked one for about 200 yards and lost it when it went into the protected area around the lake. I guess it is time for a preserve. LPJR and Lou
